Terms and conditions of use
The Alumni and Friends section of the LMH website is a service provided free of charge for LMH alumni, parents, and friends.  All potential users will be verified against our current records during the registration process before being granted full access to the site.  Lady Margaret Hall reserves the right to refuse access to anyone who misuses the site in any way and to edit or delete postings to the site.

Directories
The LMH online community site includes searchable directories of Senior Members.  Except for lists of lost Senior Members these directories are NOT available in ANY form to visitors.  Logged in members of the online community will be able to see the name, matric year and subject of study of all Senior Members. 

You can choose to make some or all of your own profile visible to other members of the LMH online community, and they to you.  Please treat this information with respect.  Anyone contacting members for any purpose other than friendship and/or networking within the LMH community (e.g. spam, junk mail, soliciting business) will have their access terminated.

Data Protection
The information provided by you will be held on the College’s database of Senior Members and Friends under the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.  It will be used by the College for the purposes of alumni relations, events, mailings (including electronic mailings), networking and fundraising.  The data is available to LMH and Oxford University academic and administrative departments, recognized LMH Senior Member societies, sports and other clubs associated with the College. 

We will not obtain personally identifying information about you when you visit our site unless you choose to provide such information to us.  Except as might be required by law we do not share any information we receive with any outside parties.

Email Communications
Lady Margaret Hall will be using Blackbaud Inc, a US and UK based company, to process some of our email communications with you.  Blackbaud have undertaken to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.  Blackbaud Inc is a member of the US Safe Harbor initiative, further details of which can be found at www.export.gov/safeharbor.

LMH will only use your email address for LMH related business, as detailed above.  If you have any questions please email the Development Office.

Use of Text and Images
If you would like to publish information that you find on our Web site, please send your request to development@lmh.ox.ac.uk. Where text or images are posted on our site with the permission of the original copyright holder, a copyright statement appears at the bottom of the page.
